Tertrans N

Tertrans N is a standard insulation paper used for various applications:

  • Transformer conductor insulation
  • Coil insulation
  • Bushing insulation
  • Crepe base paper

    • Tertrans N is manufactured of 100% sulphate pulp. Tertrans N has excellent thermal endurance properties. It is elastic so that the conductors can be bent without breaking the paper. Calendered Tertrans N is the right choice when an extremely strong paper and very high breakdown strength are required. When using this paper, the number of insulation layers can be reduced.

    We offer ready stock Tervakoski, Finland make Insulating Kraft Paper of the higher quality (As per IEC 60554-3-5).

  • 40 microns, 50 microns, 63 microns, 75 microns, 100 microns, 125 microns.

Thermally upgraded Tertrans T

Calendered paper and thermally upgraded paper are two different qualities of the paper. Upgrading is achieved by adding nitrogen to the paper pulp. Nitrogen replaces the oxygen which otherwise oxidizes and ages the paper at high temperature.

Application

  • Coil winding, barrier, core & layer insulation in transformers. It is also used in motors and other electrical applications where high dielectric and physical strength are required.

  • 500mm, 1000mm

    • Note: Reels can also be supplied in slitted form duly slitted as per desired width of the customer. Specific thickness can also be supplied as per requirement of the customer.
